American Classic Barn Door- No. 1

This limited edition canvas flag is designed to be hung unframed just like the original. The "gallery wrapped" canvas wraps around 1 1/2" thick stretcher bars to add the three dimensional look. Wrought-iron rings are included to further replicate the artisanship and rough-hewn look of this original work of Americana.
Old Glory has been interpreted by artisans of many genres, but this folk-art style painting on a barn door is one of our favorites. Since its debut in the February catalogue, and with thanks to a lead supplied by an alert collector, the unknown artist of "American Classic" has been located! Not lost but found, his name is Thomas Langan, and we are pleased to have him join the Greenwich Family of artists. You can look forward to his next release soon!

Best Seat In The House

As the firework displays light up the night sky with a dazzling palette of color, we know it’s time to celebrate summer at the Bay View Inn. The 150-year-old lodge features one of the most picturesque views in the Phillips Bay Highlands. The Inn is as renowned for the sumptuous meals served on a stone terrace overlooking both the Inner and Outer bays as it is for its nightly displays of patriotism during the month of July. This night, classic automobiles are featured at the twilight cruise from dockside through Phillips Bay culminating with dancing to live music from the 1940s, ’50s and ’60s. If you’re lucky enough to find a spot on the west garden lawn across from the heart-shaped pond, you’ve got “The best seat in the house.”

Rejoice

One of the Phillips Bay collection of limited edition prints and canvases.

Come to Phillips Bay, a charming spot you won´t find on any map. It is a place of simple joys, where life sets a gentle, easy pace. Take a leisurely stroll now along the shore, past the warm, cozy homes to the beckoning lights of town. A full moon behind you casts a soft glow upon the scene, while celebratory fireworks bespangle the sky.... Rejoice reflects Bill´s gratitude for a life filled with blessings, especially the opportunity to see a thrilling new era begin. Completing the painting in the closing seconds of the old millennium, he signed "William S. 1999" just before midnight and "Phillips 2000" moments later. Published from the artist´s original oil painting.
