	Bows On The String Thoreau had Walden Pond. Luke Frazier has String Lake. He goes to this jewel of the Grand Tetons when he’s in a contemplative mood—or itching to fish for rainbow trout (thus the title Bows on the String). We find Luke’s style reminiscent of Winslow Homer: the sense of natural light, the idyllic moment and dare we say it?—that hat, which looks like it was whisked off the head of one of the farmer boys in Snap the Whip. 	Buck Norris - Cross Sabres Ranch “Wyoming, the Cowboy State, conjures images of wide open spaces, cattle ranches, wild mustangs and rugged men in boots and Stetsons,” says artist James Bama.“I had known Buck Norris for many years, he was a strong, quiet man who worked with his parents, owners of the oldest ranch on the North Fork of the Shoshone River west of Cody.The day I finally visited this cowboy and trapper to use him as a model, it snowed three feet. With the snow filling up the corral around him, he carried the tools of his trade: a leather saddle fitted with saddle bags, fringe-decorated bridle, coiled lariat and silver-dollar size spurs.These, the clothes on his back, and, of course, his horse, were sometimes the only possessions a cowboy of the Old West owned.” (See options...)

	Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. “Although I am not old enough to have seen him during his lifetime, I hold the life work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in high regard. It would be easy to paint a “heroic” portrait of Dr. King giving one of his great speeches, but I wanted to portray his personality over his deeds,” says Dan. “I handled this piece as if I had been asked to paint his portrait. I knew he had a number of images of Gandhi about his home and chose to incorporate this detail. Hopefully, what I’ve created is a tribute to a force of politics, preaching and praise—as well as Martin, the man.” (See options...)
