“I love color harmonies that provoke a mood,” says artist Morgan Weistling.
“While creating Lemon Girl, I was inspired by the juxtaposition of the girl against the subtle greens and blues which ran through the background.”
“When I paint, I prefer to suggest the form of my subject, giving impressions of what I see so that the viewer can interpret the painting for themselves. I regard this as my poem about the Lemon Girl rather than my full-fledged novel. This allows the viewer to fill in their own details, drawing them in as part of the painting.”
