Season's Greetings by Kenneth Cope

OH, HOLY NIGHT

(written by Adolph Adam)

Every time I perform this French carol, I’m lifted beyond myself. I’d like to think that I was among the angel voices that praised the Savior’s birth on that “holy night.” Regardless, I rejoice to be able to raise my voice in praise to Him now. —Kenneth—

STILL, STILL, STILL

(words by Kenneth Cope; music: traditional Austrian carol)

I have loved this beautiful Austrian melody for years, and some time ago felt inspired to write new lyrics including both Christ’s first and second coming. Every Christmas, still, “comes the thrill of our Savior’s birth.” Soon, He’ll come again, “making on earth one long Christmas season.” I hope for the blessing of being there in that day. —Kenneth—
